Before Marcello was sent to Argentina, he, Melanie and the girls were a part of my church. Not only were they family, but they opened their home to our Bible study. It's amazing to me that we can manage to bailout the world, fly to the moon, create a Hadron Collider to discover the origin of life but we can't manage to put a loving, caring family back together. Marcello is a lovely man committed to being his best. I just delivered my friend's baby and I couldn't imagine her raising this one child on her own. Forcing Melanie to raise two children on her own is appalling when her husband, whom she and the girls love dearly, is a plane flight away. The thought of keeping them apart for the next 38 months is appalling and shameful at best. We need to do all we can to bring this family back together.
